Atelierhaus
The Atelierhaus for the german artist Markus Oehlen is located in a formerly illigal settlement in the north of Munich. Inbetween makeshift buildings a house was formed with just one room, constructed with just one layer. The materials concrete, pumice stone, wood and bitumen are joined as simple as possible. Groundwater underneath the site serves as the heat source for the house. A huge roof window feeds the interior with northern lights.
