IF House
Project of a single-family dwelling with 420m, located in residential condominium in the city of Natal, capital of Potiguar, for a young couple with two children. The design of the project was designed to create large, high-ceilinged environments, free of masonry, prioritizing the closures with glass frames that promote a constant dialogue between the exterior and interior of the residence. The large openings capture the luminosity and abundant ventilation typical of the region, while the large eaves, shelter terraces that protect the internal spaces of direct sunlight. The project prints a language based on the international style through apparent concrete and simple volumes that interact with combinations of light and shadow through the large swings present in the building, which added to materials such as wood and ceramics, refer to an architecture of northeastern influence. He won the Honorable Mention in the IAB.pb 2015 Award in the category of Building Architecture.
