BOUTIQUE CLAUDIO BONFANTI
Over the years, the construction has undergone several fragmented and localized interventions, which sold the building that was not compatible with the current commercial requirements that it has been using for some time. In this case, Vaerini freed the spaces from spurious overlaps in an attempt to give them a more rational product function. He has laid bare the load-bearing structures and the connection area between the first and the second environment, made up of a metal covering supported by iron beams in its central part.
The furnishings, reduced to the minimum necessary, have been studied as modular elements in treated iron in order to maintain the natural color derived from the various stages of production, and unfold in a variable planimetric arrangement. Variability determines a sensation of scanning volumes and interior spaces to underline the different sectors of activity. The side window, punctuated in its length by iron beams and as many coupled steel blades, developed for about twenty meters at full height, is an element of fusion between the two rooms giving continuity and unity to the building.
