Kudrovo, Russia
Kudrovo is a town located east of and immediately adjacent to the city of St. Petersburg. Formerly a village, it was granted a town status on 29 June 2018.
There is no industry or large-scale infrastructure in Kudrovo. In 2010, the population of the village was just over 100. Subsequently, intensive high-rise residential construction started, and apartments were sold to individuals who had jobs in nearby Saint Petersburg.The population estimates of Kudrovo now vary between 20 and 50 thousands. The infrastructure lagged considerably behind this development.
