Olivetti Buildings
This particular building designed by Egon Eierman and finished after his death was constructed between the years of 1970 and 1972 to be the headquarters for the Olivetti company.
Its houses functions which include general office facilities, a cafeteria, and other amenities which are required for this type of building. Unlike the typical American high rise, the Olivetti building is formed from a central rectilinear two story building, roughly 115 meters by 40 meters, with two 25 x 30 x 60 meter tall towers located on opposite corners of the central building. The two towers are designed as inverted, top heavy cantilevers.
