Sometimes urban regulations become an inseparable part of the architectural equation of a project. This is the case here at La Garde with the construction of 23 appartements for social housing.
Located north of the railroad linking the city of La Garde to Toulon, the project land is a neglected addition to the plot bordering a watercourse. The volumetry we have proposed is consistent with the need to evolve in height over the floors by emitting a significant retreat conducive to the development of terraces. The figurehead to the south is claimed in its plastic crowned by a terrace attic 360 °. Thus each proposed apartment is different in its configuration, its orientation and its surfaces. The appartements on the ground floor have private gardens all around the building. The locksmiths of green color slice with the white of the masonry volume and come underlined the external spaces on all the levels.
