church of S.Giovanni XXIII
The church is been realised next to the Hospital of San Giovanni XXII in Bergamo.
It's been designed by the same architects who realised the hospital: the french architect Aymeric Zublena and the Italian architects Pippo and Ferdinando Traversi.
The church is accessible both from the outside and from the inside of the hospital through an underground corridor.
The architects chose to design a light white squared volume that defines the public square, and it's surrounded by a curtain of thin white columns.
As in the outside, the interiors are also essential and balanced between architecture and artistic images.
