LEISURE CENTER IN MIGENNES, LAPS ARCHITECTURE
The parcel is located on the border between the school town and a
set of housing developments dating back 70. It was chosen to implement the building in parallel the two lanes of circulation to emphasize the limits urban. The entry only being directed to the parking areas northwest of the site.
The building is dedicated to childhood. It brings together two establishments around a central courtyard: a nursery north of the plot, and an extracurricular home in relation to the school district nearby. A common entrance accessible from the school town serves the two buildings on both sides of the building the play area of the day nursery. The building on the ground floor has panel façades metallic bronze stratified, opened by large windows giving to read the inner life of the building and the patio.
Large bay windows punctuate the peripheral façades and open the activity rooms in the neighborhood and surrounding streets. Bays also extend the view to the central patient, opening the establishment on his neighborhood. Games rooms and activities are therefore doubly oriented and beneficial a beautiful light. The building is first and foremost for children in the neighborhood. and the choices that guided its architecture are comforts and the creation of convivial and exchanges.
