CO.ARCH SALONE SATELLITE continue the research on designing objetc that trigger new habits for the users. We designed a reading chair and a bistrot table.
BULCO
It is a reading chair.
Inspired by Mexican vernacular chairs, we wanted to recreate the feeling of tranquillity you feel sitting on the streets in the shade, watching the dust of Mexico. An intimate space to sit down to stay still for a moment, reflect, read, relax, to give time its dimension. The structure with geometric shapes is a continuous line that creates an inclination of sitting of great comfort. The thin metal rod design encloses and emphasizes soft fabrics and padding in cotton or leather.
The tones chosen for the structure and the fabrics are the colours of the earth and the blue of the sky.
Bulco is equipped with a small table and a personal lamp following the concept of hybridization between domestic objects.
BOU
It is an independent bistro table with a private light.A round top supported by a structure with semi-arches ironically overturned, made of painted metal rod.Usually you do not pay too much attention to what’s underneath the table, Bou’s legs are beautiful even when viewed from below. It is equipped with an integrated lamp to create intimate tables that are independent of the ceiling lights. The structure of the lamp is also a semi-arch that politely makes a slight bow.
