Neighbourhood celebration with champagne
A gentle slope defines the transition between these houses and the town centre, this quartet of individual homes debunks the old prejudices that weigh on social housing. Our desire? To give the notion of social housing a makeover, through houses that dialogue with the surrounding residential area, while redefining the aesthetics of the genre.
Like a residential garden among the vines
Influenced by this wine-growing village's immediate environment, we wanted to limit the structures' domination in favour of plant life. Going against the bungalows dictated by the programme, we are building two semi-detached two storey blocks, liberating land suitable for creating large green spaces, entirely devoted to strolling and enjoying the gardens.
Double detached houses
4 three-bedroom units in which we expertly deconstruct the classic codes of houses: a double sloping roof transformed by an asymmetrically placed ridge; louvered shutters revisited with different widths, highlighted with a splash of bright colour identifying each home; a garden shed designed as a colourful mini-replica, dropped into the garden like a little monopoly house.
Bricks and metal, united in a durable embrace
Borrowed from the surroundings, the rationale behind the choice of materials is durability. Zinc roofing, brick façade with sharp edges, painted metal shutters and shed... this social housing development shines like a pearl in the centre of the public garden.
