It was a client's request that "always feeling a sign of his family, the whole house is like a one room space".
In response to that request, we proposed to divide the space by the skip floor.
The floor level changes variously through long stairs and short steps.
Like the notes on the score, windows and wall openings were arranged with the floor level as a musical score.
The sight changes with up and down movement.
We planned a house where many scenes were studded among the sense of unity of space in one room.
When thinking about how to build a skip floor at what height and thinking about how to make it structurally in consideration of earthquake resistance, We thought of attaching a small volume to the left and right.
The right and left volumes support the main volume, making it possible to make LDK a big space though it is wooden.
The height of the roof, the height of each floor, the height of the ceiling, etc. all link structurally.
