022 Dress-Up Sticker Set - Login Gate Competition
The Dress-Up Sticker Set is our entry for an international competition held in Sweden in 2016.
The brief of the competition requested for the design of the entrance gate to a public park. The proposals had to relate public space with social media in order to relate the project with younger generations. The park is located in a neighborhood where new housing developments are planned to be built in the years to come, with new families settling in this part of the city.
Our proposal, instead of delivering a final design for the gate, consisted in organizing a new competition. This new competition would be held online on a platform developed by us where the current and new habitants of Jakobsberg could design their park by themselves. The platform, as the design of our board suggests, resembles a sticker set with which anyone, independently of their age or professional background, can design the park simply by arranging a collection of urban elements.
The platform would be continuously updated broadening the collection of stickers to be used as design elements on the site. The proposals would then be shared on social networks for voting. Subsequently, the winning design proposal would be fully developed for construction.
