Cime di Tapas - Tiny space for big dreams

Travels always inspire good ideas, but you must have curiosity and a sharp eye to observe the world around you. So, after a long time wandering, two young girls come back home to make their "big dreams" come true.
Cime di Tapas is the result of the harmony between two women that barely make 60 years old as a whole, women determined to test themselves by building day by day a familiar place, a place of comfort in downtown Monopoli. In the heart of “Murattiano” district, with Corso Umberto that splits Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, Cime di Tapas provides that fresh breath often strangled by today’s standardisation.
Interiors planning and design have been thought out down to the smallest detail, considering the available area of 45 square meters. The venue renovation began by removing the existing drywall, bringing back to light and breath the original tuff vaults. Local craftsmen made all the furniture by design. A clean and minimal style distinguish the Bar section, deprived of redundancy in favor of a work of pace between materials: anthracite iron and oak wood. Shelves design was crucial, bringing order to an unruly framing of wooden cubicles and wine bottle holders, to take full advantage of vertical space.
