La Halle aux plantes
It consists in a renovation of an old church which is about to collapse.
We implanted a steel structure in it, to support the old walls and pillars and to permit new uses as a covered market, a new form of public space and a greenhouse. This structure recreate a central vault with plays between lights and shades.
The project has the ambition to make this church a new polarity in the little town of Billom (France).
