The objective of this building is to promote the establishment of young enterprises in the tertiary sector by offering a progressive rent over a period of five years. In order to form quality workspaces capable of evolving with the needs of companies in terms of space and organization, we opted for an autonomous construction wherein all facades benefit from a principal orientation. The building is situated at the center of the site as a simple and unitary volume, each facade a composition of large bays underlined by dark frames which project at a 45° angle onto the white surface of the parking lot to create the impression of an islet rising from the surrounding asphalt. The light glazing alternates with floor to ceiling white roller blinds to offer intimacy and solar protection, and the resulting play of transparencies and contrasts generates a sober yet dynamic image.
The single-storey layout allows easy access and flexible workspaces, which are organized around two independent cores. All of the offices benefit from well-oriented spaces and pleasant exterior-facing views as well as comfortable interior volumes.
