Santa Filomena Chapel
Ancient chapels had in the sacred the motive of its localization, ie, the soil in which they were founded would be of unique nature whether by the topography of the site, controlling and protecting the landscape, or for being a place of contact or revelation of the divine. The land where the Chapel of Netos will arise does not have any distinctive peculiarity, except the profane visibility of the road [...]. This visibility will be the theme for this Chapel: the meaning of its location is given by the extreme proximity when passing by car.
An open niche at the top of the Chapel, confronting those coming from the northwest, will shelter the image of the patron, which will be as well visible from inside, as an altarpiece of the altar. From the road, the image will mark the traffic displacement with the presence of religious. From the nave, the image will appear to float outside, for the niche walls are drawn so that the wall thickness can not be perceived.

The Chapel will have [...] a single-layer coating with limestone gravel, similar to local stone. This material will approach the pyramidal shape of the Chapel to the timelessness of stone construction, invoking also through the colour the stone used in monuments of the region and with the texture the sand floor of the region.
