VILLA ANNIA
A guesthouse inside a renovated rural building near the riverbank of Sile.
Just a few meters away from Sile river, the building has an original plan from the XVIII century, similar in shape and type to the rural architecture of the area, with a rhythmical position of the window openings, plastered façade, front porch and arc windows on the ground floor facing south. The project aimed to re-evaluate the building structure and its garden, improving the functionality and preserving both typological and formal elements, using traditional materials combined with modern ones. The vegetation has been replaced by planting local species such as elm, poplar and white poplars.
