It is a building condo with ten housing units in a corner lot of 10x17 meters, located in the neighborhood of Saavedra. This is located in a typical block, with the limitations of the R2 B1 zoning, of a low density residential fabric, which has the possibility of building the whole building.

It is a building condo with ten housing units in a corner lot of 10x17 meters, located in the neighborhood of Saavedra. This is located in a typical block, with the limitations of the R2 B1 zoning, of a low density residential fabric, which has the possibility of building the whole building.
The building tries to complete the maximum buildable volume, forming a perforated box, which rebuilds the exterior volume, creating patios or terraces permeable to the facade perimeter and staggering the patios to the interior of the block.
Configuration / Consistency
The program is developed in four floors in height, proposing a synthetic configuration that allows the proposal to investigate by means of subtraction operations, undermining and splitting the volume, generating new opportunities to experiment, projecting desired spatial qualities and allowing diversification the housing units
These morphological procedures, in conjunction with the search for a material permeability granted by the proposed plot, try to experience a vital interior spatiality, filtering the light to both private and semipublic spaces, at different times of the day.
Tectonics / Materiality
The structure and outer shell is made of reinforced concrete, and the permeable skin materialized with prefabricated blocks in-situ of 30cmx30m, arranged in a variable way allowed alternations and gradients of privacy, luminosity and opacity.
In the project, we set out to carry out a material research, looking for the user to experience various relationships with the building, the relationship with the exterior, the incidence of light, its spatial qualities and its areas.
Organization / Disposition
The proposal is organized in relation to all the housing units have their relevant expansion areas (balconies and terraces), and are arranged around these spaces of the room, nucleated in the center of the property means of exit and services. It also intends to address certain typology and programmatic possibilities (with some degree of indeterminacy). It is investigated in the diversity of habitation, for it develops a ground floor of divisible simplex units with patio. In the first level, the units by their flexibility allow their grouping, and can be destined to houses or offices, with terraces. While on the second level, the larger units, which due to occupancy issues allow the maximum volume to be produced, projecting four duplexes of two and three environments with multiple expansions that allow for the desired recess, permeability and illumination.
Proposals / Results
The particularity of a corner lot and the possibility of maximizing the volume allowed by the Building Code allows us to investigate certain operations of manipulation of the architectural object.
A coherence is sought between its volumetric configuration and the material resolution, interpreting that the proposed spatial arrangement gives rise to bursts in the mass that resemble the interstitial light inputs that are experienced by the projected material web.
