Tribeca Duplex Penthouse
This duplex apartment in Tribeca offers breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the downtown Manhattan skyline. Our design sought to preserve the original layout’s open, airy feel while providing privacy for a family of four with two young children.
To make the most of the panoramic city views, the layout is carefully organized along the perimeter, with storage and secondary spaces integrated into the apartment's core. On the lower floor, the bedrooms and family area are centered around a compact storage volume. On the upper floor, the entry, living room, kitchen, and dining area create an open, flowing layout, with the study and entertainment areas separated by a continuous storage spine.
A wide staircase opening enhances the connection between levels, allowing natural light to flow through the space and reinforcing the home’s bright, open atmosphere. Many original materials were preserved to enhance the apartment’s character, while several custom-built solutions were designed in-house.
