The design of the new residential house responds to the heterogeneous surrounding with a compact two-storey volume. The horizontal structure of the facades and the slope of the roof is corresponding to the rural building tradition of the region. The building´s construction as well as all interior and exterior surfaces are designed to be made from untreated local timber. A one-storey secundary structure defines privacy by a courtyard-like situation.
