The Royal Botanic Gardens located in Kew, a district in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames are a UNESCO site since 2003, and the widest collection of living plants in the world. The magnificent glass and iron structure of the Palm House recreates tropical weather. It was built in 1844 by Richard turner according the project of Decimus Burton.
