House with five gardens
The house is transformed into the collection of spaces that are scattered over the project site. Each function relates to certain spatial blocks — entrance block with foyer, meeting room, cabinet and a garage, family block with master bedroom and bedrooms of the family, entertainment block with swimming pool, cinema theater and workshop and, finally, meeting block with living room, kitchen, dining room and a viewpoint. Functions are grouped and distributed around the inner garden. Some rooms get access to their own private gardens that cannot be seen by anyone else. Porous plan transform house into a labyrinth, a sequence of inner and outer spaces. View from the outside can only give an idea of what spaces you can nd inside the house, but it never reveals all of its secrets. By being a patchwork of natural and built, house slowly disappears in the nature that grows around and within. The ‘lantern’ is the last room of the house, a place for contemplation, which gives views to the surrounding landscape in all directions.
