ART STUDIO FOR TWO YOUNG HAIR STYLISTS AND SCULPTORS
The original spaces, emptied from every superfluous interior partition, have created a large volume, a sort of architectural “container” which gave free rein to design and creativity.
Wood paneling as a background for the workstations creates verticality, boards of different length and thickness broken up by bright red slats (slats of a bright red colour) draw your attention and bestow dynamism and energy on the space.
The paneling, the black steel shelves with a built-in chest of drawers, the footrests, as well as the backlit round mirrors are all tailor-made details.
On the ceiling above the workstations, cylindrical luminaires of various heights have been installed, they look like “luminous stalactites” which light up the workstations precisely; architeture and light interact and integrate, at complete service of the customer, the real protagonist of the space. In the hair salon three contemporary works of art have been installed, very material informal paintings of large size and of considerable aesthetic impact.
The aim is to make the salon clients feel at ease in a cosy, cocoon-like almost surreal atmosphere.
Part of the salon is dedicated to body care and personal well-being (beauty centre)
