"in the shadows"
God’s existence is a debatable and is as per one’s belief but people can believe in Parents, Teachers and Nature, because they are real and their physical presence and be sensed. An emotional connect to these is possible. Similarly a place of worship doesn’t serve the purpose if people cannot connect to the omnipresence God.

That experience of connection – spiritually in the shadows of God and Architecturally in the shadows of Walls is the element of this Church. Visitor’s journey and involvement into spaces by play of light & shadows created by openings on walls & landscape is the essence of this church’s design. Light penetrates from east walls of the church and crosses as porous allowing light Here in inside the church priest/father becomes a silhouette – The worshipers cannot see face of the father but as an outline and listen to the holy words as a light of hope.
A wall which starts from zero and gradually increases its height in search of reaching top (a journey/path of human life to reach up to heights of God). A spout projected out of wall which throws rain water outside acts as “cross” and metaphorically throwing tears and worries of people who visit the church providing them a hope for happiness.
A sidewalk on edge of the church with continuous wall brings curiosity in visitors to know and experience the entry of church and other spaces.
