The project consists of the extending and refurnishing of the town hall of Montfaucon, in France. The stake was to clearly express the institutional character of the building, through contemporary lines. Inspiration was to find in the surrounding patrimony, made out of clay brick. The seven colors of clay bricks remind of the ocher and brown tones of the historical village roofing’, while the ensemble recalls the neighborhood’s dry stone walls.
