OFFICE BUILDING IN L’ISLE JOURDAIN (32)
The specification required the construction of an office and meeting room tray together with a shop surface in an artisanal zone.
The proposal questions the concept of architectural quality in a peri-urban area marked by a trite commercial architecture. The challenge is to offer a high-standard architecture with a limited budget, because it is a commercial construction.
To meet this challenge, we made the choice of a fully prefabricated construction with a rational fabric and the use of identical elements calibrated on industrial specifications.
The building system combines prefabricated concrete fronts filled with aluminium joineries, wood framed panels and aluminium lining.
The construction shows its commercial identity with a front defined by its structure. The glass and aluminium panels play with the initial emptiness of the structure using shadows and reflection. The construction responds to the light and its environment for a better integration.
