Teca
A “latticework” arising from the elementary and repeated geometries of circles and squares, a container through which air freely flows, revealing and recalling rather than concealing the objects it holds. With Teca, metal acquires a delicacy and the container becomes a space that displays, no longer a volume that hides. Teca’s furnishings recall Victorian birdcages and allow the objects within them to be viewed through a play of shapes, voids and volumes. One has the impression of witnessing a delightful form of magic.
