Holiday House in Garda Lake
A bit above the village of Bardolino, about 65 meters above sea level, this small holiday house is part of the Southern Lake Garda landscape.
The overall appearance of the house is a simple rectangular shape drawn on the ground, characterized by a clear separation into two ambits, one for family and one for the individual life. This part consists of two bedrooms and a bathroom, while the social area merges the kitchen, the dining and the living room, then going outside and continuing in the terrace the dialogue with the landscape; the only limit is a transparent glass wall that divides almost only formally what is inside from what is outside. On the roof, a sinuous railing protects the terrace from which it's possible to admire the landscape of the Lake all around. For the exterior finishes it has been used a medium-large-grain plaster, to which were added local aggregates to strengthen the relationship with the landscape.
