The proposal is focused on the preservation and integral rehabilitation of the dwelling at 3 the Pouet de Sant Vicent street, to transform it and accommodate a new housing program. Built in 1930, the shelter is located at the corner with Garrofa Street and is attached on its South and West party walls to St Vincent Ferrer’s birthplace. With a positive attitude, the minimum is demolished, in order to add, transform and reuse, adjusting this new program by following a strategy based on certain actions without rhetoric, which converge in a series of acts done by the dwellers. New inside and outside elements, which demand new needs, are installed without imposition and with as much lightness as possible, living with everything that has been able to be maintained of the old building.
The side façade is rendered with a large flowerpot stand that will celebrate the small square that guards.
