Fellsvegur Bridge
The Fellsvegur road bridge connects two neighborhoods in Reykjavík on either side of the Úfarsár river valley.
Studio Granda
The bridge has three spans of 13, 18 and 15m and a total length of 26m. It is has two 3.25m road lanes and a width including curbs of 8.3m. The bridge deck is a 600mm thick concrete slab post-tensioned with 12 cables. The tapering, inclined columns are monolithic with the deck and the abutments are constructed without joints or bearings.
