The main idea behind the project is to transform the apartment into a big playground for the clients’ three young children.
Being no construction work needed, the intervention may be considered a proper installation based on the insertion of one single element repeating and changing in each room: a yellow steel tubular structure.
The structure modifies defining how the space must be used, redefining it and giving a merrier and different look to the rooms of the house.
Between kitchen, dining and living room it creates a fitted wall shifting from bookshelf to a climbing structure for the kids to play.
From here the structure goes on invading the sleeping areas. Each one of the children’s bedrooms is equipped with a different yellow steel furniture to sleep, play and study.
