The apartment of Gio'
The minimalist design of this urban interior is based on a composition made up of surfaces and volumes that are highlighted by colours and materials free of any decorative purpose.
The warm color of volumes emerges from the neutral surfaces of the shell identifying the main functions/actions of daily activities such as relaxing, eating, resting.
The living room is characterised by a volume that contains different spaces and functions. A sliding wall reveals them from time to time, giving flexibility to space, separating entrance from living room and wardrobe, and revealing at the same time relaxing areas and private zones.
A hollow volume delimits the kitchen, while the small bathroom cube marks the private area creating a physical separation between bedroom and dressing room.
The opal surface of a wide sliding door separates the public area from the private one introducing an additional source of natural light in the living room.
