Vortexx Chandelier
In the same spirit of fluidity that characterises previous furniture collaborations with Sawaya & Moroni, the Vortexx chandelier appears as an endless ribbon of light. Viewed in plan, the light resembles a star, its protrusions cast outwards as if propelled by a centrifugal force.
Two transparent spirals of light are seamlessly inscribed in the chandelier’s opaque surface, tracing its double helix form.
A recessed LED strip provides animated and programmable light sensations, emitting either direct or indirect light, and allowing the user to finely tune the atmosphere to suit the space – a sophisticated fusion of aesthetics and interactive functionality made possible by advanced digital design and manufacturing methods.
The user is thus invited to creatively explore the chandelier’s interactive qualities, and to respond to its unique aesthetic.
