The intention was to reconfigure the space with a simple gesture; the reflection. The patio of the gallery is a backyard of a 1940s building of 6 floors. Due to the very reduced area and the surrounding of other buildings, there is a sensation of a more narrowness in the patio. While working with the reflection, by using gold colored aluminum panels, we could generate spatial amplitude without re-configuring the patio physically and in the same time there is a playful interaction between the installation and the user. The Hedonism in our society has become part of our everyday life and we wanted to explore this condition with our piece in a very direct way. Providing the reflection so that people can see inside the piece, their own reflection and the reflection from the others behind.
