Grand Street Loft 2
The loft the clients purchased had no walls and their desire was to keep it this way.
Our clients’ needs were clear from the beginning: the loft they purchased had no walls, and their desire was to keep it this way. Regardless, they inevitably needed a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms to live in.
With a single gesture, by introducing a central freestanding volume which houses the wet areas, specifically kitchen and bathrooms, we were able to find the solution to their request. The spaces float uninterrupted around the central volume, whose walls do not touch ceiling or walls, allowing the perception of continuity and enhancing the inner original concept of loft.
