The project starts from the complex functional program: a garage, a pool, a workshop, six service bedroom, other six bedroom, one master bedroom, public and private areas.
The neighbourhood features low quality buildings grown up in the last thirty years.
The proposal starts from these premises: the villa is a compact and introverted volume, with patios shaded by ceramic modules that remind the classic arab musharabia.
The solid walls slightly fade into perforated ones: the building reminds also an ashlar worn down by age and desert wind.
The white volume stands on a concrete plinth limiting the color palette.
Public areas are in the first basement and at ground floor; family rooms are on the upper floors and, at the top, a loggia looks towards Kuwait City downtown skyline.
The corner of the loggia has golden louvers, as a gold nugget nestled in marble.
