Casa Paracaima
Casa Paracaima is residence located in Mexico City. It has around 360 built square meters distributed in two levels. The terrain has got a rectangular proportion with 400 square meters and it has built houses in three of its sides. These characteristics determined the emplacement of the house which is formed by two intersected bodies that are complemented by a oriented south garden.
The first volume is the main core of the project. A concrete frame of 25 cm thick and 7.5 meters tall was built with recycled wood in order to optimize the building process. Inside of it, people can find an open patio, the family´s library and the stairs. The second volume is a stone body where the kitchen, the living room, the toilet and the master bedroom can be located.
