Kentron Headquarter
Project for the headquarter of an International company of electronics industry.
An anonymous industrial space in a suburban area with few chances of clearance. The only solution was the closure to the world and the opening of a large internal courtyard, in order to recreate an artificial natural environment around which turning all the other work spaces. A project played only on few elements. Light as a tribute to James Turrel’s work and to his mental paths in a continuous search for the sublime, the material, iron and cement as a memory of Jannis Kunnelis’ works and of many conceptual artists. Finally the geometries, free as in the typical miesian tradition.
