Spazio SUNNEI
The focus of the project is the sense of only one space, underlined by the led lighting designed to stress every details of the location.
Studio Modulo has launched in December at Milan this new project: Spazio Sunnei (Via Vincenzo Vela 8), designed tailor-made spaces and furniture to meet the founders’ needs of creating both a shop and a studio.
Rough and smooth surfaces, varnished wood and mirrors but also cement and fiberglass; chromatic choices that expand the space and become at the same time the sound box for clothing. In the two-level setting on the street, the contrasts and the materials’ choices produce the essential details to create the right background to the brand’s products and the special editorial corner.
The focus of the project is the sense of only one space, underlined by the led lighting designed to stress every details of the location. Moreover, by virtue of some unconventional choices of materials such as chenille for curtains, the space found its stylistic and spatial balance. Located nearby the historical Bar Basso, it deserves to be seen even just for the set of four original Alvar Aalto n. 66 chairs, the only not tailor-made piece of Spazio SUNNEI.
