TECHNICAL REPORT PROJECT "TABLON HOUSE”
The Tablon house is located in Chaullabamba a parish in Cuenca Ecuador which has according to the regulations houses have two floors with transparent fences.
The Project consisted in the planification of a house of 140 mts2 for a family. Implanting the house to the ground floor to adapt it to the particular characteristics of the land. The topography permits a view of the “Pachamama” hill known also as “Tablon” which is a natural attraction of the city.
The condition of the typology of houses in the area limited the view of the “Tablon” reason why it was decided to take advantage of specific areas in the house creating stacking of spaces that worked as filters between the inside and the outside making the owners feel attracted to these sites.
The construction was divided by an axis of continuity which let the nature and the ground get in the proposal of changing the idea of the private and the public without leaving the privacy of the house but taking the advantage of the amplitude of the crack.
This system of total adaptation to the topography as well as to the program of the project permitted the diversification of places with different levels connected through the spaces in the crack having as limit the surface of the house floor.
The spatiality of the house works as a catalyzer of the outdoor agents, which permits to use the nature as part of the decoration of the site giving the house life and nature.
The proposal wants to generate a space where there are no limits between the house and the space outside. It wants to create a direct and spontaneous relation that will provoke the sense of no division between the inside and the outside, where the house itself comes to be just one most element.
