Dental Clinic in Pamplona, Spain.
Endoperio Dental Clinic was conceived to become an improved model of the conventional idea of a dental clinic. It seeks to reinvent itself to keep up with an increasingly competitive and demanding work setting. Endoperio brings together a professional team with extensive experience in the area with an uptodate business model. The integrity of this new company and its impeccable corporate image comes as a result of a good location, strong presence in digital and social media, and effective advertising campaigns. Aiming to reflect its enterprising and innovative spirit, we raised a radical project that flees from the conventionalisms we can find at any traditional dental clinic.
Our project is best described as “3 boxes in 1”. The whole clinical work is carried out on the inside of the three faceted volumes, while the outside of them allocate the common areas, administration, waiting room and office. This “inside-outside” or “positive-negative” approach becomes more noticeable by giving the interior of the volumes a cold, clinical atmosphere; and a cozy, warm one for the exterior, thanks to the lighting, the color temperature and the chosen materials.
The great visibility of the clinic, combined with it’s location in one of the main avenues of Pamplona and the strong commercial image required by the promoter, gives this project a special “window display” characteristic. Therefore, making their image prevalent at all times of the day, including at night.
Following this “positive-negative” duality, we resolve the materialization of the three volumes -the stars of the project- with a double fibre translucent-PVC tensed membrane, which provides a clear and opaque image during the day, but by night turns into a translucent skin permeable to light. This double membrane also allows filtered natural light into the volumes during the day, and the possibility to backlit them as an advertising strategy at night.
Finally, we installed a 24/7 public tyre inflators for bikes in order to break the barrier between private property and public use, as well as seeking the promotion of the bike as a clean mean of transportation for the city. Taking advantage of the pressure equipment needed for the odontologic practice, the galvanized sheet facade integrates a hose operated by a button accessible 24/7, and a manometer to regulate the tyre pressure correctly.
