Domoestudio
This is the reform of a commercial space for the study of photography Domoestudio. Our main intention in addressing this reform was to provide the work space with warmth and comfort. Transforming the studio into a "domestic" and pleasant environment. In addition, we also wanted to meet the self-imposed needs of being open, connected and with its own character. So we built a house in a tree. We use brick and wood, and the white and the textures, to give us intimate spaces without disguises.
And to solve the program, it was necessary to have a space of attention, of production and of postproduction that responded to the requirements of a photographic study in the most economical way possible.
Our tree house is a large piece of L-shaped wood, with continuous plans that rest punctually on the floor, and where we access through the staircase, almost sculptural, composed of wooden cubes that fly and coil to form the Trunk that gives us access to the upper floor. In this loft, there are the meeting room and the photo post-production space, with cross views to the photo studio itself, at double height and located on the ground floor, just like a small waiting room.
The facade is a blank canvas, with several holes to be used as an exhibition gallery of photographic works as well as publicity claim of their work.
