Loft 64
In the heart of 's-Hertogenbosch a former office and workshop were completely renovated and converted into a loft. Because the property is as much as 20 meters deep and the only light comes at the front, rear light was an important theme.
The explicit wish of the client was being able to enjoy the property as one large room. There are various voids provided which also allow daylight to go deep into the home. The voids provide exciting glimpses between the various residential spaces themselves.
The functional elements such as bathrooms, toilets, storage room and kitchen are hosted in one large timber volume. From the bath, you can look right into the void and you see the birds in the air. Because the walls are free of obstacles, the house has retained its depth and spaciousness while anyway yields intimate spaces.
