Our proposal for the new student residence aims to create an urban link. Our work lies in the transparency through a set of perforations in the metallic facade and the creation of a glassed ground floor that opens the perspective from the street to the garden. This space becomes a real collective place where community meetings and activities are initiated. The project staircase is designed as a totem: it is visible from the street due to the transparency of the metallic facade. Upstairs, a large conical gallery offers students a space for exchanges and meetings. The building is constructed on a concrete frame with an exterior thermal insulation. The roofs are vegetated and equipped with solar panels.
