Espacios Revelados. Pulling Strings
Artwork realized for the event Espacios Revelados held in Santiago from 7 to 17 April 2016.
Pulling Strings is a site-specific installation. Architecture and a series of found objects become protagonists moved by ropes to lift an interpretive portrait space.
Eva Meyer-keller and a group of artists from Santiago will conduct each one their own investigation. The found, such as windows, doors, suspended ceiling tiles, curtains, bricks and bushes objects are set in motion using the principle of Pulling Strings consisting of tensioning ropes and potential for action. These thumbnails allow choreographies architecture of the house, which is now displayed dysfunctional, and inventory again be seen in a new light. Thus, the former an abandoned and empty becomes a home inhabited by a series of animated objects, so that attention is directed to all those things that in the past were accepted regardless of building them. Each of the individual scenes spread over the various rooms will be designed thanks to individual project of one of the participants.
