Espacios Revelados. Viewpoint #3
Artwork by Cristóbal Palma realized for the event Espacios Revelados held in Santiago from 7 to 17 April 2016.
The artwork consists of a device, -a two faces box of light (186 x 126 cm) -, located in one of the rooms of the old Casa Libertad.
On each side of the box the image projects a mirror effect of the wall to which it faces. The relation between the images with his physical environment, and the way in which the object is located, invites the spectator to review his relation with the physical environment he is in. The presence of this element transform the room in its own container. Punto de vista (Point of view) was first presented in Tajamar Gallery (Santiago) in 2014, and later the same year, in the multidisciplinary exhibit AreaBorde shown in Teatro Municipal de Santiago (Santiago National Theater).
