The building for The Cooper Union is a center for advanced and innovative education in Art, Architecture and Engineering. The project by Morphosis Architects aspires to reflect the institution’s values and aspirations. A vertical interior piazza is the social heart of the building. The iconic façade with its transparencies improves the visual connection with the street and the outside urban environment.
