Drägerwerk House 72 creates a three-sided aggregate near to Moislinger Allee open place. Visitors to the Drägerwerk are to be welcomed by this urban gesture. The urban block faces the front square with a tower-like elevation. The upper end of the simple building structure is emphasized by a convolution.
This and other details of the brick facade make the design as an interpretation of the architectural tradition of northern Germany, especially the Brick Expressionism. The design accentuates the dynamic appearance and situates the construction at the same time in the city of Lübeck and its history.
