Designed for the Paperhouse architecture platform, an open source project, this project explores the concept of the courtyard house in a natural environment. An archetypal unit (two-sided roof) is set on top of a modern base (open ground floor). The axes of this house are kept visible and cross the space with strategically aligned openings. The central yard is designed to feel like a cloister and the sensation of protection and cover intensifies with the constant connection to the nature surrounding the house.
