Architecture as a mediation of the landscape.
The new intervention on the roof of the Triennial leads to a discovery-mediated of the cityscape of Milan.
The restaurant is a covered space and enclosed by glass where the view is a tape that surrounds guests and creates the backdrop of the interior space. The relationship with the outside is filtered by a patio, an open area within structured outline of pillars that form an intimate space and unity.
The patio is visible from an even higher level of the terrace. From that point of view you create an internal landscape of all the content and activities of the terrace. But the summit is especially dedicated to the landscape: it is a viewpoint from which to plunge finally, totally, in the landscape.
